Zkusme se na to podívat z jiného břehu. Co kdyby se do podobné situace dostal muž...?
Představte si, že jdete na vyšetření spermatu a potřebujete odevzdat čerstvý vzorek. Klinika je „pacient friendly“, dostanete časopis, kelímek, úsměv slečny u recepce a vejdete do... PRŮCHOZÍ kabinky! Kterou nelze zavřít, natož zamknout. Její stěny tvoří pouze odhrnovací plenta. ŠOK! Chcete se ohradit, ale nikde nikdo. Tak tam vejdete. Zařízení nové, pěkné, tak to zkusíte. No co, jiní to tu taky zvládli...!

Začnete, ale za chvíli kolem prochází lékař se skupinou mediků. Odhrne závěs Vaší kóje, něco prohodí a jdou dál.
A Vy už jste byl tak blízko! A nic... Váš nástroj, tak intimní, citlivý, je ve Vašich rukách, bez síly... Erekce odešla. Přichází sestra. Necitlivě jej (rozuměj: přísně profesionálně) prohlíží a prohodí: „No to nám nějak nejde...!“ Vy se chcete ohradit, jak „můžu“, když mě tady otravuje tolik lidí a já nemám soukromí? Copak to jde? Ale jen otevřete pusu, sestra volá do chodby: „Tady to pořebujem
povzbudit!“ A tak přijde další sestra, s injekcí.

Přecházíte do vedlejší kóje. Na lůžko. Myslíte si: „Už to mohlo dávno být, kdyby mě ti kreténi nechali na pokoji!“ Přichází lékař: „Ničeho se neobávejte, od toho jsme tady – abychom Vám pomohli!“ A úsměv. Vy se však nesmějete. Právě Vám do varlat píchli injekci – to BOLÍ!!! – aby se erekce obnovila.Je Vám zle. Ano, erekce přišla, ale je nadměrná, nepřirozená a příliš Vám napíná kůži na penisu. A také: PŘÍŠERNĚ BOLÍ!!! „Odkdy má proboha erekce bolet? To se mi nikdy dřív nestalo!“, myslíte si. Ale sperma nepřichází. Tělo se vzpouzí tomuto znásilnění.

Přichází anesteziolog: „Dáme lokální anestézii.“ Odmítáte. Toto je přece fyziologická věc, to zvládlo tolik mužů před Vámi... Přicházejí další odbodníci. Nasazují vakuový nástroj, který z Vás sperma mechanicky vysaje. Začíná pracovat a vy řvete jako raněný býk. Vy JSTE raněný býk! Nikdo s Vámi nemluví, jste bezmocný pacient v jejich profesionálních rukou, bez šance projevit svou vůli. Anesteziolog si Vás posměšně měří a opět nabízí lokální umrtvení. Přijímáte. Už to chcete mít za sebou. Proboha, jen ať je mé sperma v pořádku, myslíte si. Lékaři pracují jako dobře namazaný stroj. Povídají si o včerejší grilovačce. Smějí se. Vy už necítíte NIC. Nejste NIČÍM.

Po zákroku máte problém vstát, chodit, močit, jít na stolici. O případném SEXU ani
nemluvě...

Regardons le sujet d'un autre point de vue...
Imaginez que vous allez à la clinique de réproduction où vous avez besoin de faire tester votre sperme. La clinique est jolie, moderne, "amicale aux clients". Vous obtenez un gobelet, magazine, sourire professionnel de la réceptioniste et vous entrez... dans une piece separée juste par un RIDEAU, pas question de la fermer ou même la verrouiller! La première réaction est le choc total! Vous voulez vous plaindre, mais il n'y personne dans le couloir... et puis, la pièce est joliment meublée, donc vous vous encouragez: Les autres l'ont bien fait dans ces conditions, bon, moi aussi je vais y arriver, non...?

Vous commencez votre tâche mais quelques instants après, il y a un groupe de docteurs et des étudiants qui passent, ils ouvrent le rideau de votre pièce, font un commentaire et puis s'en vont.

Vous étiez si proche! Et rien; votre instrument, si intime et sensible est dans vos mains sans sa force... L'érection est partie. Du coup, une infirmière arrive. Elle ausculte votre sexe de façon très désagréable (i.e: comme un avec un morçeau de viande) et dit: "Je vois que ça va pas trop bien, ici. Vous voulez protester: "S'il n'y avait pas la foule de crêtins qui me dérangent ici, j'aurais fini depuis longtemps!" Mais il n'y a pas le temps de le dire et l'infirmière appelle sa collègue: "On a besoin d'assistance par ici!" Une autre infirmière arrive, avec une piqure.

Vous êtes emmené dans une autre pièce et vous vous trouvez couché sur la table d'opération. Le docteur arrive et vous dit avec un sourire toujours très professionnel: "Ne vous inquiétez pas, on est ici pour vous aider." Mais vous ne souriez pas - les infirmières viennent de vous donner une piqure dans les bourses pour renouveller votre érection. Ca fait un mal de chien! Et l'érection est beaucoup trop grande, non naturelle et vous fait tirer la peau sur votre sexe. Mais surtout: vous fait incroyablement MAL!!! "Depuis quand ça me fait mal? Je n'ai jamais eu ça!", c'est ce que vous pensez. Mais le sperme n'appaîrait toujours pas. Le corps refuse ce viol.

Un anéstésiologue arrive et vous propose un anésthésie locale. Vous la refusez - c'est pourtant un processus tout à fait naturel! Tous les hommes l'ont réussi avant vous... Le docteur vous fait une remarque sarcastique: "Eh ben mon garçon, c'est pas si difficile que ça..." D'autres spécialistes viennent et vous vous trouvez avec une machine-ventouse fixée sur votre sexe qui va extraire le sperme de votre corps. Elle se met en marche et vous criez comme un taureau blessé... Vous ÊTES ce taureau blessé! Personne ne parle avec vous, vous êtes juste un patient dans leurs mains expertes, sans la possibilité d'exprimer votre volonté. Vous acceptez l'anésthesie locale et priez que votre sperme soit ok et en bon état.
Les docteurs parlent entre eux, parlent du barbeque d'hier et plaisantent entre eux. Vous ne sentez plus RIEN. Vous êtes devenu un objet.

Le lendemain, vous avez du mal à aller aux toilettes, ne pouvez pas vous asseoir, ni marcher, même pas penser de faire l'amour...
Est-ce que ce scénario serait pensable, pour vous...?
Et pourtant, dans la plupart des maternités les femmes sont traîtées sans le respect pour leur intimité et leur VRAIES besoins.

Vážení a milí,

letošní rok je rokem pokračujících změn v českém porodnictví. Na počátku roku vyhlásilo Ministerstvo zdravotnictví podporu ambulantním porodům, v porodnicích může o ženu již i oficiálně samostatně pečovat porodní asistentka, v Praze proběhl v prvním červnovém týdnu nebývale velký celosvětový kongres porodních asistentek s rekordní účastí 3700 porodních asistentek a lékařů ze 101 států zaměřený na samostatnou práci porodních asistentek tak, jak ji definuje mezinárodní definice porodní asistentky. Vývoj nezadržitelně směřuje k autonomii této profese a pravomoci porodních asistentek se nadále rozšiřují.

V České republice je stále více žen, které si uvědomují, že těhotenství není nemoc, vnímají jej jako pozitivní a zdravou součást svého života, a tudíž vyhledávají odborníky na podporu zdravého těhotenství a přirozeného porodu. Takovými odborníky jsou především porodní asistentky.

Z oficiálně dostupných zdrojů (ÚZIS a ČSÚ) vyplývá, že se v roce 2012 živě narodilo 1420 dětí nezachycených zdravotnickou statistikou (ÚZIS). Mnohé ženy, pokud do porodnice přijedou, se snaží zkrátit svůj pobyt v porodnici na co nejkratší dobu. Všechny ženy však potřebují porodní asistentku, která by je provedla zdravým těhotenstvím, fyziologickým porodem a pomohla jim v době poporodní. V České republice má systém kontinuální komunitní péče poskytované porodní asistentkou velký potenciál pro rozvoj. V mnohých státech světa, kde nebyl tento model péče násilně přerván komunistickou totalitou, je běžnou, dobře propracovanou součástí systému péče o matku a dítě. Při srovnatelných perinatologických výsledcích novorozenců vykazuje daleko lepší výsledky ve zdraví a spokojenosti žen. Systému zdravotní péče přináší tento model významné finanční úspory.

Obecně prospěšná společnost Porodní dům U čápa se rozhodla představit české odborné i laické veřejnosti funkční zapojení porodních asistentek do systému péče o matku a dítě a jejich úlohu při zvyšování bezpečnosti a kvality péče v rámci mezioborové spolupráce.

A catalyst

Teal Swan also known as the spiritual catalyst visited Prague recently (April, 10-11-12 2014)

Teal had 2 conferences,  and one workshop (in Slovanský dům)

The 10th Teal Swan was in a conference with  Silvano Paoluci (Italy), Pascal Greub (Mexico), Jitka Třešňáková ( host), Anatolij Někrasov (Russia).

This is what Teal wrote in her blog about that event :

When I first arrived to Prague, I participated in a ‘spiritual panel’ of sorts at a building that was once a slaughterhouse.  I was on stage with other spiritual teachers.  During the event, I walked off stage.  It is the first time I have ever walked off stage in my life.  I did not resonate with many of the views that were shared by the other spiritual teachers, but beyond that, one of the teachers had a very unconventional approach to jarring people out of their realities.  The unconventional approach was to yell at people.  For many in the audience, this approach seemed to work.  Others, it made cry.  It just so happens that his approach ended up triggering my PTSD.  The force and rage behind his voice made me feel like I was 6 years old again, in the war path of a monster in the shape of a man.  I tried to hold myself on stage for as long as I could, until I decided that it was self-abusive to do so.  During his second intentional outburst, I ducked behind the curtain and nearly fell over my own shoes down the stairs in back of the stage crying.  I resigned from doing the rest of the seminar.  I did not make any friends doing that.  Many people were angry with me because of that decision.  The next day two people confronted me.  One who called me a coward directly to my face, the other who told me they decided based on my withdrawal, to attend the other man’s workshop instead of mine.  And when I showed up at the auditorium to speak at the Festival Evolution, I discovered that my withdrawal the previous night had earned me a reputation as ‘a difficult, self centered, American princess with an unnecessarily large entourage’.  

Workshop

For participants of the workshop (and they were around 400) nothing transpired of this "incident" - the main excitement was to see Teal in real life - to finally meet the teacher they discovered and loved on youtube. To see Teal with her team (Graciela, Blake and Sarbdeep) and to be part of what is now known as the "Teal Tribe".
 
During the 5 hours workshop there was a lot of questions related to "How do I figure what to do with my life?" and "suffering" in general - is it because in Czech Republic we have the habits of waiting for permission to be able to do something ? or to have the affirmation by an authority figure that what we want is actually possible ? and a need to "conform"?

Or is it just because we expect a definitive black and white answer like :  "being a successful writer" or "being a musician" ... What Teal Swan said and demonstrated with her assistant Blake (during the Festival Evolution the 11th) is that following our emotions is the way to reach the goal or finding our unique "gift" .. what was the paradigm shift for many in the audience was that it would be discovered gradually. Not as a sort of big revelation.
Because new desires will appear along the way, and one day will make people look back and realize that there was no right or wrong way to walk the path.

The whole point is to enjoy the ride, by following the feeling of happiness.

"Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional."

This is simple, and looks like a lot less painful, than the usual process of looking at evaluating things and trying to control events in our life (which is actually impossible).

Now, where are we buying this beliefs that there is a right way and a wrong way to do things ? ... and having recognition from others is more important than following our own emotions, and also that making mistake was bad ? ... when a whole institution is teaching generations after generations to conform, and learn like robot to eventually get a diploma that will lend them a job .. unfortunately this paradigm doesn't work anymore and it has created a bunch of deluded people that need to be reminded that the importance is to be happy not in the future, not after getting a diploma or having a job, but right now.

And this is the wake up call we got from Teal (among others).

Teal at the end of the workshop said she will be back in Prague, I certainly look forward to see her again.

Waking up in the dream

At the moment we are living in a time that will display the very best and the very worst in humans with a widening gap between the two aspects in all levels of society as we become increasingly polarized in groups according to our conduct and choices in Life.

It is a process of separation between the asleep person from the awake.
Yes, a trend is emerging - questions arises during dreams and about dreams...
What are we exploring really?
People recounting their lucid dream experiences (or "out of body" experiences) all that which lead us to question the "awaken state" ; what we call "reality" and then you suddenly start to look at dream in another way - because in a way "reality" is very similar to dreaming - but slower.

Deeper Dream

A mind shift starts to happen when you then think that dreaming is just another reality - then it hits you like a ton of brick : what we call "Reality" is just a "deeper dream" - then you can see paradoxes, there are meaning - but in dreams some interesting things are taking for granted : Telepathy is there, you can fly, you can teleport, anything pretty much appears the moment you want it. Have you ever noticed, how many things that we are trying to recreates in this dimension we call "reality" are these abilities we have inherently have in dreams - devices to help us fly, to communicate remotely, to travel fast...

The dream is in you

That's the funny part - the dream is in you and that means everybody you interact with  in the dream - even you...
Because the main similarity between these dimensions is that you still have "Consciousness" - even though you might not look the same way (or even have the same name).
Dreams are the safest thing you can experience, (i.e : what's the worst that can happen really? ... waking up ... end of the list).  

And then you realize that you have been asleep while awake and while dreaming. Because becoming lucid you understand fundamentally that you're creating your own reality.


The bottom line is : it will always be your own experience.

Jessica Serran

Jessica Serran is a Canadian artist, fascinated by the unseen, the unheard and the unspoken - and she is currently having an Art exhibition at the Bĕhal Fejér Institute (651/8 Pevnostni Praha 6 - near Dejvická metro station)

Jessica is looking into the Czech psyche through 10 paintings that are a visual maps of conversations she had with Czech people. She defines herself as a "Psycho-cartographer". More or less like Andrew Park from the "RSA Animate project".

It certainly is interesting to see through these paintings, how Jessica perceives cultural differences, and trace patterns, and behavior that are in a way typical for the Czech. I don't think there was a Golem though.


The initial opening was 23.5.2013 but there will be other date : 6, 9, 10, 13 , 22 and 23 in June.

Challenging time

The current time is filled with new challenges, it's in the air. We live in a time of transition, and we have this choice either to accept the change or to resist the upcoming evolution.

Nothing can be certain, and nothing ever was held as the truth unanimously recognized as such. The fact is there is probably not such thing as an Universal truth - only fragments the each and every one of us hold as their truth.

But there is change and change has always been the modus operandi of this Universe. Nothing is set, everything evolve, update, transform, ...

Laws and Order

Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.

Change is something already occurring, people are awakening in mass ; and start to question "what is reality ?" in fact simple things that we always took for granted, start to amaze people, to mesmerize their interests, why do we have to live like we are never going to die ? why do we pretend to like jobs we don't like ? why have I never stopped and look inside for what I always wanted to do with my life ?

What if we are the creator of our own reality ?

of course this reminds a bit of "The Secret" - which was talked about in a previous post

As described in the film, the "Law of Attraction" principle shows that feelings and thoughts can attract events, from the workings of the cosmos to interactions among individuals in their physical, emotional, and professional affairs. 

it's good to know that initially Dr. Wayne Dyer was contacted to appear in "The Secret" but didn't.

the book "Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life" is not so much about "Knowing what you want" but to observe life and act in life with the life's way.

Other dimensions of reality

Troubled times, crisis everywhere ; but people are waking up, despite the feeling that as modern civilizations we have everything figured out. The 21st century  is sad, and fearful - haven't we forgot something along the way ? What are we really afraid of ?!

Stanislav Grof (born July 1, 1931 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a psychiatrist, one of the founders of the field of transpersonal psychology and a pioneering researcher into the use of non-ordinary states of consciousness for purposes of analyzing, healing, and obtaining growth and insight into the human psyche. Expat Expo 2010 - (the Golem's review)

Last saturday (25-09-2010) I went for the first time to the Expat Expo (it's apparently the second time such expo is taking place) - I took the photo on the left.

As usual in such Expo, lots of people, lots of noise, and many (free) seminars to follow in 4 rooms. Unfortunately I missed the seminar delivered by the Prague Post on the The Changing Face of Journalism but followed one on mental toughness, quite funny actually they were showing a software able to measure an individual's level of stress.

The exhibitors stands were always busy, and there was activities for the whole family with a large place dedicated for kids. Everybody was speaking in English, I actually didn't hear any Czech, it was strange.

It was nice to be there, and I hope there will be another one next year.

I'm having a very good time reading the book "For The Love of Prague" from Gene Deitch.

In a nutshell, it's the biography of Gene an American  who came to Prague in the early 60s for a job as a cartoon director, and ... why he never went back and he's actually still in Prague now. 
The book depicts the tragic Czech historical event of 1968 and the Revolution of 1989. 
And it highlight accurately what make the Czech personality so touching, and why living in Prague (the magic city) is such a sweet thing.
